After passing the two main aft 12-inch gun-turrets, the first of two of these casemate guns appears. The aftmost turret barrel points dead astern, while the turret further forward has its barrel pointing outwards directly away from the hull. Beyond this second casemate gun, the hull loses its shape and is a jumble of torn, bent and buckled plating often with large portholes dotted along the former hull plates. Passing over this salvaged area, the four-feet-wide foremast lies on the seabed at 90º to the hull.
